I am posting this in honour of Dave Arneson, the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons. While I do not appreciate the mixing of science fiction with fantasy that is rife in Blackmoor, many people do. Arneson was a highly creative person who inspired millions of gamers worldwide and I respect him for that. I think we also owe Arneson for the dungeoneering concept. Regardless of one thinks of dungeons, it has had a huge impact worldwide. My son has been reading anime light novels that take place in dungeons, for crying out loud! At any rate, cheers to Dave Arneson and Blackmoor!
